幼少期に渡独、渡英。メンデルスゾーンの子孫から薫陶を受け数々のコンクールで入賞。13歳でロンドンにてオーケストラと共演。帰国後、国立音楽大学附属音楽高等学校、国立音楽大学卒業。在学中オーケストラとラフマニノフのピアノ協奏曲を共演。テレビ朝日｢ピアノ王決定戦｣準優勝。2015年、キングレコードからソロメジャーデビュー。セカンドアルバム「PianoLove II」でビルボードランキング1位を記録。ヤマハミュージックメディアよりアーティストスコアブックを出版。2017年、ピアノデュオ「鍵盤男子」を結成、2018年、ワーナークラシックスからメジャーデビュー。映像作品「Piano Love The Movie」および「鍵盤男子 The future of piano FINAL」をリリース。2019年、株式会社NTTドコモ制作アプリ「AIピアノコーチ」を監修・出演。 2020年、OnConceptを設立し独立。株式会社イープラスとエージェント契約を締結。初の著作、集英社「Piano man」を発表。2021年、全国13都市のソロツアーを催行。
ソニー「Xperia」TVCM、河合楽器製作所ハイブリッドピアノイメージモデル。三菱一号館美術館「シャネル展」公式アルバム選定。PTNA正会員。日本補助犬協会アンバサダー。
2025年、満員のヴィクトリアホールにてシンガポールデビューを飾った。7月よりデビュー10周年を記念し全国ツアーを開催。

Takeshi Oi lived in Germany and England in his childhood. Studied piano directly with a descendant of Mendelssohn, and won first prize and awards at many competitions, including the Worthing Music Festival and the Reigate & Redhill Music Festival. Started performing in London at the age of 13, performing a piano concerto with an orchestra. After returning to Japan, graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. While a student at the college, performed in the “Kunitachi Music Concert” and the ” Solo and Chamber Music Regular Concert”. Performed Rachmaninoff’s concerto with an orchestra at the “Solisten Concert”. After playing as an exclusive pianist for the opera unit “LEGEND,” debuted as a major pianist with King Records in 2015. the second album “Piano Love II” ranked No.1 on Billboard, and starred in a TV commercial for Sony “Xperia” in 2017. Also formed a piano duo, “Kenbandanshi”, with a composer, and made a major debut with Warner Classics in 2017. In 2020, he left the group to become an solo artist, and published his first book, “Piano man (Shueisha)”. Released the album “reBUILD” in 2021, and conducted nationwide tour “PIANO CLASSICS” in 11 cities. In addition to performing music, active in many fields, including media, writing, lectures, and lessons.
