4歳からピアノを始め、日本大学芸術学部在学中よりアーティストサポートや楽曲提供を行い、多くのテレビ、映画、アニメ、ゲーム音楽に携わる。
2019年には東京オリンピックWeb CMの楽曲を担当。

コンサート活動では、イギリスツアーが全公演、2025年のオーチャードホール単独公演、Piano Recital TOUR ’25-’26「人生の階段」は全てSOLD OUT。また、FUJI ROCK FESTIVALや京都音楽博覧会、ドイツのAnimagiCなど大型音楽フェスにも出演。
数々の国際音楽コンクールで入賞し、オーケストラのソリストとしても活躍。2024年11月に日本人ソリスト初のガーシュウィンのコンチェルト全4曲を一晩で完奏に成功、2025年には新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団の定期演奏会にて、超絶技巧を要する難曲「ヒナステラ：ピアノ協奏曲第1番」を演奏。菊池自ら書き下ろした「ピアノと管弦楽のための交響詩『トラベラーズファンタジア』」を東京交響楽団と世界初演を成功させ、その卓越した技術と音楽性を印象づけた。

Started playing the piano at the age of four, and while studying at Nihon University College of Art, began supporting artists and providing compositions, contributing to numerous TV shows, films, anime, and video game music.
In 2019, was responsible for composing music for the web commercial of the Tokyo Olympics.
Their YouTube channel has 860,000 subscribers and over 400 million total views.
In his concert activities, all performances of his UK tour were sold out, as were his 2025 solo concert at Orchard Hall and the Piano Recital TOUR ’25–’26 “Steps of Life.” Additionally, he has appeared at major music festivals such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, Kyoto Ongaku Hakurankai, and Germany’s AnimagiC.
He has received awards at various international music competitions and has performed as a soloist with orchestras. In November 2024, he became the first Japanese soloist to successfully perform all four of Gershwin’s concertos in a single evening. In 2025, he performed Ginastera’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the New Japan Philharmonic as part of their regular concert series.
