ピアノの森Forest of Piano

Born in 2021 amid the pandemic, this concert series began in the greater Tokyo area and has since grown into a beloved nationwide tour, performing in concert halls across Japan.

Over the past five years, more than 30,000 people have attended the concert.
Cherished by fans, the program brings to life the world of Forest of Piano, the acclaimed manga by Makoto Isshiki. Through exquisite piano performances and engaging talk, the story unfolds as a 90-minute experience—one to be heard and felt.

Iconic pieces that colored memorable scenes in the story—including Chopin’s Waltz in D-flat Major (“Minute Waltz”), Polonaise in A-flat Major (“Heroic”), and Liszt’s La Campanella—come vividly to life before your eyes.

In 2025, the program expanded with a chamber arrangement featuring a string quintet. Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 was performed with Niu Niu as soloist, and Piano Concerto No. 2 with Ryoma Takagi, both presented in a chamber ensemble format. The program also included Little Brown Jug, arranged by Niu Niu and performed as a piano duet with string quintet, to great acclaim.
